Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ridgewood). They never let the Aurora East Tomcats get on the board and left with a 19-0 win on Friday. With that victory, the Rebels brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Ridgewood got a massive performance out of Kyle Szewczyk, who went 1-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Szewczyk a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Angelo Vitale, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one triple.

Ridgewood's win bumped their record up to 11-9-1. As for Aurora East, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Ridgewood will take on West Chicago at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Aurora East, they will challenge Fenton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
