Wasatch had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Wasps who were credited with the win. The Wasatch Wasps got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Springville Red Devils's four. This was a revenge game for Wasatch: when they faced off against Springville back in August, they had to take a 1-0 loss.

Wasatch now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Springville, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4.
