Recap: Proctor Raiders vs. Liverpool Warriors
The Proctor Raiders''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Liverpool by a score of 29-26. Proctor lost against Liverpool in their previous head to head back in September, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 36-6 score last time.
Jerquell Henderson and Kamal Cisson-Ali certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Henderson rushed for 92 yards on only seven carries, while Cisson-Ali only rushed for 123 yards. Cisson-Ali is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last four games he's played.
Proctor's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Liverpool, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
Proctor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Liverpool will head out on the road to face off against Christian Brothers Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Christian Brothers Academy is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
