Volleyball Recap: Katie Falcone and Kylie Dahl Secure Win for Davenport

After losing to Steele the last time they met, Davenport decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wolves came out on top against the Knights by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Davenport walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 23-25, 25-14, 25-19.

Leading Davenport to victory were Kylie Dahl and Katie Falcone. Dahl had 24 assists and five digs, while Falcone had seven digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Falcone a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Davenport was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Steele only served three aces.

Davenport's record is now 2-0. As for Steele, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Davenport didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Incarnate Word on the 15th. As for Steele, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Cypress Creek on the 14th.
