Killingly is a perfect 10-0 against Putnam since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Trailblazers will be playing at home against the Clippers at 4:15 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Waterford hit Killingly with a ten-run second inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Trailblazers lost 13-1 to the Lancers. The Trailblazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Putnam came up short against Lyman Memorial on Monday, falling 20-8. The Clippers haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Putnam saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Paquette, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. Paquette has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Laci Sinni was another, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs.

Putnam now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Killingly, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.

Killingly got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 against Putnam by a conclusive 15-0 score. Will the Trailblazers repeat their success, or do the Clippers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
