Football Game Preview: Hoopeston/Armstrong/Schlarman vs. Georgetown-Ridge Farm

Hoopeston/Armstrong/Schlarman will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Georgetown-Ridge Farm at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close match.

Hoopeston/Armstrong/Schlarman have to be aching after a bruising 21-48 defeat to Oakwood last week. Hoopeston/Armstrong/Schlarman got a solid performance out of senior Jacob Catron, who caught passes for 192 yards and 2 touchdowns; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win.

Meanwhile, Georgetown-Ridge Farm came up short against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, falling 26-35.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend.
