Oconto and Peshtigo are an even 4-4 against one another since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Blue Devils are taking a road trip to challenge the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oconto's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Peshtigo's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Oconto barely beat Southern Door the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Blue Devils were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Eagles on Friday. The Blue Devils' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Peshtigo's offense. They came up short against Kewaunee on Tuesday, falling 9-0. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Storm recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Oconto has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Peshtigo, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Oconto couldn't quite finish off Peshtigo when the teams last played back in April and fell 6-4. Can the Blue Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
