Basketball Recap: Casady Takes a Loss

Casady was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Victory Christian Conquerors. While losing is never fun, the Cyclones can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 293rd, while the Conquerors are ranked 39th).

Casady's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Victory Christian, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Casady will square off against Luther at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Victory Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Holland Hall at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
