Softball Recap: Desert Vista Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

There's no place like home for Desert Vista, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Sunnyslope Vikings by a score of 8-5 on Wednesday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 18-0 victory on April 9th.

Desert Vista let Jessa Ramirez and Mckenzie Leitgen run wild. Ramirez got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI, while Leitgen went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Takoah Jones, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs.
