Football Game Preview: Malta/Whitewater/Saco/Dodson Mustangs vs. Shelby Coyotes

The Malta/Whitewater/Saco/Dodson Mustangs will take on the Shelby Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Malta/Whitewater/Saco/Dodson will be strutting in after a victory while Shelby will be coming in after a defeat.

On Friday, Malta/Whitewater/Saco/Dodson beat Fairfield/Augusta 27-14. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with Fairfield/Augusta recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Malta/Whitewater/Saco/Dodson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Straud Sims led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Landon Retan was another major factor on D, making 11 total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defending two passes.

Meanwhile, Shelby was beaten by Conrad 48-8 on Friday. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shelby's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Malta/Whitewater/Saco/Dodson, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.
