Volleyball Game Preview: Rancho Dominguez Lobos vs. Banning Pilots

The Rancho Dominguez Lobos will face off against the Banning Pilots at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Rancho Dominguez played in-conference for the first time on Wednesday and got just the result they were looking for. They came out on top against Gardena by a score of 3-1. The Lobos haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

The final score came out to 25-16, 15-25, 25-17, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Banning waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Banning not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept San Pedro between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-17, 25-15.

Banning pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Rancho Dominguez, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-4.
