Volleyball Recap: Highland Park Comes Up Short

Highland Park lost against Lincoln College Prep on September 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Scots fell 2-0 to the Blue Tigers.

Carmiya Ray paced Highland Park's offense, picking up four kills. Ray got some help from Evelyn Cortez and her ten assists. Sincere Cooper controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Highland Park's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Lincoln College Prep, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

Highland Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Southeast on the 20th. As for Lincoln College Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Barstow on the 23rd.
