Softball Game Preview: Big Spring Steers vs. Snyder Tigers

The Big Spring Steers will head out on the road to face off against the Snyder Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Friday, Big Spring got the win against Estacado by a conclusive 21-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Steers.

Meanwhile, Snyder made easy work of Liberty on Friday and carried off a 21-3 victory.

Snyder has been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Big Spring, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-9.

Big Spring might still be hurting after the 11-0 loss they got from Snyder in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Steers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
