Volleyball Recap: Whitfield Comes Up Short

Whitfield lost against Westminster Christian on April 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1.

Joey Garcia-Dominguez paced Whitfield's offense, picking up ten kills. Garcia-Dominguez got some help from Vincent Baiocchi and his 13 assists. Lucien Gray-Liva controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Whitfield has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9-2 record this season. As for Westminster Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-11.

Whitfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 tie against Holt on the 26th. As for Westminster Christian, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Notre Dame on the 26th.
