Softball Recap: Classical Purple vs. Central Knights

Classical faced Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Purple were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Knights. The result was nothing new for the Purple, who have now won five contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

Emmy Tavares was excellent, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Amya Manston, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one double.
