Softball Recap: Evansville Bosse Bulldogs vs. Vincennes Lincoln Alices
Evansville Bosse had lost eight straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 0-5 to make it nine. They came up short against the Vincennes Lincoln Alices, falling 24-0. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 22-0 to the Alices when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Evansville Bosse saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaili Graupner, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. Graupner has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Eliana Tibnol also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
As for Vincennes Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 4-5. That 24 run margin sets a new team best for them this season.
On Vincennes Lincoln's side, Olivia Lange looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
On the hitting side, Emma Cunningham was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, seven RBI, and two runs. Grace Archer was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs and three RBI.
Coming up, Evansville Bosse will be playing at home against North Knox at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Warriors will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Vincennes Lincoln, they are taking a road trip to challenge North Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
