Basketball Recap: Fort Hill Falls Short of Mountain Ridge in the Playoffs

Fort Hill and Mountain Ridge squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Fort Hill had to settle for second. They took a 53-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain Ridge Miners. The defeat continues a trend for the Sentinels in their matchups with the Miners: they've now lost eight in a row.

Fort Hill now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Mountain Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Fort Hill nor Mountain Ridge have any future games scheduled.
