Limestone is 9-0-1 against Galesburg since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Limestone Rockets will be taking part in a tournament against the Galesburg Silver Streaks at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Limestone's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Olympia as Limestone made off with a 3-0 win. That's two games straight that the Rockets have won by exactly three goals.

Chloe Massey and Paige Werneburg scored all three of Limestone's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, Galesburg took care of business in their home opener on Monday. They walked away with a 5-3 victory over Orion/Sherrard. The win continues a trend for the Silver Streaks in their matchups with the United: they've now won three in a row.

Limestone came out on top in a nail-biter against Galesburg in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 4-3. Does Limestone have another victory up their sleeve, or will Galesburg turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
