Volleyball Game Preview: Riverbank Bruins vs. Johansen Vikings + How To Watch

The Riverbank Bruins will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Johansen Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Riverbank is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They fell 2-0 to Gregori on Saturday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Johansen unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Weston Ranch on Monday, falling 3-0.

Johansen took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-10, 25-12.

Riverbank took their win against Johansen in their previous meeting back in August of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Bruins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
