Softball Recap: Palo Verde Valley Comes Up Short

Palo Verde Valley managed to slip by Tolleson the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets came up short against the Tolleson Wolverines on Saturday, falling 14-2. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Yellow Jackets, who until this match were averaging 3.67 runs allowed.

Arianna Lee made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.

Palo Verde Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Tolleson, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
