Recap: Little Miami Panthers vs. Kings Knights
Even though the Little Miami Panthers have not done well against the Kings Knights recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Little Miami rang in the new year with a 61-53 win over Kings. The win made it back-to-back wins for Little Miami.
Little Miami's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jake Wittenauer, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. Elisha Jones was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Little Miami has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Kings, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Little Miami's road trip will continue as they head out to face Northwest at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th. As for Kings, they will square off against Turpin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
