Basketball Game Preview: Doyline Panthers vs. Glenbrook Apaches + How To Watch

The Doyline Panthers and the Glenbrook Apaches will face off at 5:15 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Doyline took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They strolled past Summerfield with points to spare, taking the game 58-42. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Glenbrook got the win against Forest on Thursday by a conclusive 59-33.

Glenbrook found their leader in sophomore Carson Powell, who shot 4-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double with 33 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was Powell's fourth in a row with at least 20 points. Another player making a difference was Louie Collins, who posted five points and six boards.

Glenbrook smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Doyline now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Glenbrook, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
