Football Recap: Cimarron-Memorial Takes a Loss

Cimarron-Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 34-6 loss at the hands of the Foothill Falcons. That's two games in a row now that the Spartans have lost by exactly 28 points.

Savannna Truax continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Foothill, rushing for 124 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries, while also throwing for 133 yards and two touchdowns. Brooke Reed was another key player, picking up 82 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Cimarron-Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Foothill, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Cimarron-Memorial has already played their next match, a 34-28 loss against Mater Academy East Las Vegas on the 28th. As for Foothill, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 42-6 win against Faith Lutheran on the 28th.
