 The Los Altos Conquerors will head out on the road to  square off against  the Diamond Bar Brahmas at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Los Altos' pitching crew has only allowed four  runs per game  this season, so Diamond Bar's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
 Last Thursday, Los Altos fell victim to a  rough 13-3 loss at the hands of South Hills. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Los Altos in their matchups with South Hills: they've now lost six in a row.
 Meanwhile, Diamond Bar had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Duarte 11-1. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Diamond Bar considering their two-run performance the  game before.
  Jonathon Smith looked comfortable as he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 At the plate,  Jake Mestas was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three  doubles, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Jayden Henness, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Los Altos now  has a losing record at 7-8-1. As for Diamond Bar,  the  win  got them back to even at 7-7.
 Los Altos came out on top in a nail-biter against Diamond Bar  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023, sneaking past  9-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for Los Altos since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
