Football Recap: Notre Dame (SO) Knights vs. Chino Hills Huskies

While the Knights didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Huskies 7-0 in the first quarter.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Luc Weaver, who picked up 116 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Wyatt Brown was another key signal caller, throwing for 242 yards and two touchdowns.
Chino Hills had a senior duo take command as Jacob Jimenez rushed for 192 yards and four scores and Alex Medyn rushed for 55 yards and three TDs. Those 192 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Jimenez. Calum Ferrell also helped out with an impressive 82 receiving yards.
Notre Dame (SO)'s defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6. As for Chino Hills, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.
