Sierra never let their opponents score on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Fresno Christian Eagles as they made off with a 9-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Chieftains, who have now won seven matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.
Not much got past Addy Carrillo, who gave up just seven hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Fresno Christian off the board.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lexie Valle, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Naliyah Gibson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
The victory was the third in a row for Sierra, bringing their record up to 11-8.
