Flint Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 50-35 bruising from the Dallas Academy Bulldogs. One positive for the Falcons, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Dallas Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jack Wilson out in front who posted ten points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Josh Maki, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 boards.

Flint Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Dallas Academy, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Faustina Academy the next time they take the court. Dallas Academy will head out to face Faustina Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while Flint Academy will host them at 6:30 p.m. on January 28th.
