Soccer Recap: Elmira Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Elmira was not quite Ithaca's equal in the second half on Monday. They fell just short of the Little Red by a score of 1-0. Elmira haven't had much luck with Ithaca recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Elmira's loss dropped their record down to 5-9-1. As for Ithaca, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Elmira will head out to take on Unatego at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ithaca, they will face off against Chenango Forks at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
