Volleyball Recap: St. Albans Has No Trouble Against Nitro

With a playoff win on the line, St. Albans rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Nitro Wildcats. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Red Dragons yet this season.

St. Albans was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-16, 25-20.

St. Albans' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Natalie Harris, who had eight digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Harris a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aaliyah Reynolds, who had five digs and four aces.

St. Albans' win bumped their record up to 25-17-1. As for Nitro, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-20-1.

St. Albans has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Winfield on the 30th. Nitro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
