Soccer Recap: Seward Takes a Loss

Seward lost to Lexington back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bluejays came up short against the Minutemen, falling 6-0. That's two games in a row now that Seward have lost by exactly six goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Seward and nudges their season record down to 7-5. As for Lexington, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Seward is set to take on their familiar foe Aurora at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lexington will challenge rival Papillion-LaVista South at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
