Softball Recap: Dieterich Comes Up Short

Dieterich lost against Robinson back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Movin Maroons fell just short of the Maroons by a score of 3-2.

Dieterich's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Robinson, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.

Looking ahead, Dieterich will venture away from home to challenge Hutsonville/Palestine at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Movin Maroons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Robinson, they will be playing at home against Effingham at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Maroons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hearts have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
