Baseball Recap: South Hadley Takes a Loss

South Hadley fell victim to Mount Everett Regional and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

South Hadley got a good showing from Charlie Maxwell, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

South Hadley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, South Hadley will take on Lenox Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mount Everett Regional, they will square off against Easthampton/Hampshire at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
