Baseball Recap: Walnut Takes a Loss

If Walnut was feeling good fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Middleton on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats came up short against the Hatley Tigers on Friday, falling 8-1. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Walnut's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Hatley, the victory got them back to even at 13-13.

Walnut does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hatley, they will face off against Alcorn Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
