Baseball Recap: Chilton County Gets the Win

Chilton County won the last time they faced Beauregard and things went their way on Saturday too. The Chilton County Tigers walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Beauregard Hornets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Zander Mims looked comfortable as he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, Josh Parker was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Stephen Cromer, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Looking ahead, Chilton County will head out to challenge Opelika at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Beauregard, they are taking a road trip to face off against Smiths Station at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
