Lawson's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 133 rushing yards. Another pass catcher making a difference was Zayden Bodner, who picked up 87 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Bob Jones' victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.2 points over those games. As for Sparkman, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Bob Jones strolled past Sparkman in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 56-37. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Senators' Jabari Davis, who rushed for 121 yards and three scores.
