Basketball Game Preview: Kamiak Knights vs. Lake Stevens Vikings

Kamiak hasn't had much luck against Lake Stevens recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Kamiak Knights will be home for the holidays to greet the Lake Stevens Vikings at 7:15 p.m.

On Monday, Kamiak was beaten by King's 79-37. The match marked Kamiak's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lake Stevens, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 59-38 margin over Peninsula on Saturday. The Vikings pushed the score to 50-24 by the end of the third, a deficit the Seahawks cut but never quite recovered from.

Lake Stevens now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Kamiak, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Kamiak was able to grind out a solid win over Lake Stevens when the teams last played back in February, winning 67-59. Does Kamiak have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lake Stevens turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
