Woodstock Academy entered their tilt with Bacon Academy on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Centaurs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-16, 23-25, 25-19, 25-23.

Kaylee Bundy paced Woodstock Academy's offense, picking up 14 kills. Bundy got some help from Lillian Morgis and her 31 assists. Avery Grant controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Woodstock Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Bacon Academy, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Woodstock Academy will welcome East Lyme at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bacon Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Griswold at 5:30 p.m. on October 1.
