Baseball Recap: Sequoia Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Sequoia proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Wilcox Chargers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Ravens have posted since April 26, 2025.

Cole Hymer was excellent, going 3-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Oliver Connelly, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

The win (which was Sequoia's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 10.3 runs this season. As for Wilcox, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Sequoia will welcome Woodside at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wilcox, they will be taking part in a tournament against Monterey at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
