Football Recap: Corydon Central Takes a Loss

Corydon Central's game on Friday was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Scottsburg Warriors. The Panthers lost against the Warriors in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 56-21 score last time.

Although Corydon Central took the loss, they still got scores from Jackson Likes, Matthew Wolfe, and Jojo Mccarty.

Scottsburg got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nathan Byrd out in front who threw for 273 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes, and also punched in one rushing score.
