After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Albany, North Pontotoc was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the West Union Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 win. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Vikings this season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 25-19.

The victory snapped North Pontotoc's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-4 record. As for West Union, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-11.

North Pontotoc didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Tishomingo County on the 9th. As for West Union, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Potts Camp on the 9th.
