Walker took care of business in their home opener on Monday (and then some). They blew past the Acadiana Rams 65-11. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-0.

The dominant performance also gave Cookmeyer a new career-high in threes (three). Arionna Patterson was another key player, going 6 for 11 en route to 16 points plus six steals.
Walker smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in four consecutive games dating back to last season.
