Volleyball Recap: Dominion Christian Has No Trouble Against Excel Christian Academy

Dominion Christian won the last time they faced Excel Christian Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Knights put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Dominion Christian took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-6, 25-14.

Addie Schell paced Dominion Christian's offense, picking up 14 kills. Schell got some help from Caitlyn Watson and her 30 assists. Watson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Dominion Christian's victory bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Excel Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Dominion Christian will venture away from home to take on Harvester Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Excel Christian Academy, they will challenge Lyndon Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
