Basketball Game Preview: New Life Academy Eagles vs. St. Croix Prep Lions

The New Life Academy Eagles will challenge the St. Croix Prep Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. New Life Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully St. Croix Prep likes a good challenge.

Last Monday, New Life Academy beat Nova Classical Academy 55-43.

Meanwhile, St. Croix Prep was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Agnes on Monday, taking the game 44-35.

St. Croix Prep has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for New Life Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

New Life Academy was taken down by St. Croix Prep 78-40 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can New Life Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
