Highland and New Paltz pushed the score to 10-0 the last time they played New Paltz, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. Neither the Huskies nor the Huguenots could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Highland have been dealt a draw since back in September.

Highland's draw gives them a new season record of 5-5-3. As for New Paltz, they moved theirs to 8-2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Highland will venture away from home to take on Millbrook at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Paltz, they will head out to face off against Wallkill at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
