After flying high against South Davidson on Wednesday, Wheatmore came back down to earth. The Warriors fell 3-1 to the Southeast Guilford Falcons on Thursday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Wheatmore came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 158th, while Southeast Guilford are ranked 449th).
