Volleyball Game Preview: Hobbs Eagles vs. Roswell Coyotes + Official Tickets

For the first time this season, Hobbs will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will face off against the Roswell Coyotes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Hobbs came up short against Artesia on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

While Hobbs was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 27-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Roswell came up short against Santa Teresa on Saturday and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 23-25, 25-20, 25-17.

Hobbs' defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Roswell, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.

Hobbs suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Roswell in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
