Soccer Recap: Calhoun Takes a Loss

Calhoun and Almeta Crawford squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Calhoun had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 3-2.

Daniel Solano and Nicolo Nardelli scored both of Calhoun's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 21 goals.

Calhoun's loss dropped their record down to 11-8-1. As for Almeta Crawford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6-4 record this season.

Calhoun does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Almeta Crawford, they will take on La Vega at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. La Vega will roll in looking for their 20th straight win, something Almeta Crawford surely won't give up without a fight.
