Baseball Game Preview: Jesup J-Hawks vs. Wapsie Valley Warriors

The Jesup J-Hawks are taking a road trip to take on the Wapsie Valley Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wapsie Valley took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Jesup, who comes in off a win.

Jesup had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Oelwein on Thursday. The J-Hawks were the clear victors by a 19-12 margin over the Huskies.

Meanwhile, Wapsie Valley suffered their biggest defeat since June 10, 2024 on Saturday. They came up short against Northeast, falling 11-1. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Warriors' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wapsie Valley fell to 4-1. As for Jesup, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Jesup suffered a grim 12-3 defeat to Wapsie Valley in their previous meeting back in June of 2024. Can the J-Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
