Football Recap: Wilcox Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wilcox Central extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They were outmatched by the Thorsby Rebels and fell 62-12. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 42-12 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

As for Thorsby, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. The match marked their most dominant win of the season so far.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Thorsby to victory, but perhaps none more so than Braylon Carroll, who rushed for 136 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries, and also threw for 96 yards and one TD on only six passes. With that strong performance, Carroll is now averaging an impressive 108.8 rushing yards per game. Another back making a difference was Javien Cooper, who rushed for 130 yards and a pair of scores.
