Softball Recap: Addison Comes Up Short on the Road Against Waverly

Addison kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 12-3 to the Waverly Wolverines. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Addison saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Hulslander, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

The victory got Waverly back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Addison will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Hammondsport at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Waverly, they will welcome Notre Dame at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
